1) How much are personal training sessions?

As all of my clients differ and come to me for different reasons e.g. they have a holiday coming up in 3 months’ time and want to feel confident in their bikini, or they are getting married in a year’s time and want to look and feel amazing in their wedding dress. For this reason I have varying training programmes to suit each individual need. During the consultation process, I will assess your needs and match you up with the programme that best suits you and your circumstances.

2) Will I be locked into a long-term contract?

Nope! I dislike contracts so do not impose contracts on to clients. If you wish to leave the programme, all I ask is that you provide me with 30 day written notice. However, to get the best possible start from your programme, I recommend a minimum of 3 months to really see and feel some noticeable changes in your body. Plus you can rest assured that if for any reason you are unhappy with the programme in any way, I offer a 14 day risk-free, money-back guarantee.

3) How long are the sessions?

Sessions are 45 minutes in length, with the exception of your first session which will be 1 hour in length.

4) Can you just write me a one-off programme I can do myself when at the gym?

In order to see and feel significant changes in your body and receive the full benefits of a personal training programme, it is important to follow a progressive programme with regular sessions over a period of time. It’s all too easy to talk yourself out of attending the gym after a long hard day at work, or when exercising not really pushing yourself as much as you probably could. It really helps to have someone to hold you accountable for getting your workout in and really striving to reach your exercise goals. Therefore I do not feel it is beneficial to write one-off programmes.

6) What if I’m not fit enough to cope with the programme?

Clients come to me all at differing fitness levels. I understand that some people may not have exercised in a long time so please don’t worry. I tailor each session to match your fitness level. Luckily I am not a scary trainer who will bark orders at you to drop down and give me 10 more press ups!!

During your taster session, I will assess your general fitness level and then plan your Personal Training Programme accordingly. I am attentive to each clients’ needs. My clients do say the exercises are challenging, but actually fun! I guarantee you will be pleasantly surprised by how much more you are capable of than you ever imagined. You will leave sessions feeling really proud of what you are able to achieve.

7) How long is it going to take for me to see a difference in my body shape?

Most of my clients start to see results within 6 weeks! As long as you are committed and prepared to work hard when in the gym and out, you too can get great results and the body that you really want.

8) What happens during the taster session and consultation?

Firstly I will send you a pre-taster session questionnaire (which will take you 2 seconds to fill out), so I can find out a little about you, your goals and what you would like to achieve. From this I then plan a 20 minute exercise taster session where I guide you through several different exercises based on the answers given in your questionnaire. Following the exercise session, we have a cosy sit down chat where you can tell me in greater detail exactly what you would like to achieve, and I will talk you through which training programme would be the best fit for you. Please allow one hour for the combined taster session and consultation.

9) Do I need to bring anything with me to the taster session and consultation?

If you need to store your belongings in a locker, you will need to bring a padlock with you. If you do not have a padlock, don’t worry as I can loan one to you.

Expect to get a little hot and sweaty during your taster session! Please bring a bottle of water and a small towel with you.

Please arrive 5 minutes prior to your prescribed time so we can make a prompt start.
